- AUTHENTIC:

Your account must be authentic that is you must match the account you want to verify.

- YOUR ACCOUNT MUST BE COMPLETE:

You must fill your bio, set your profile picture and add at least 3 posts.

- NOTABLE:

According to Instagram you must be a high searched for person, brand or entity and you must be featured in multiple news sources.

Note: Don't pay for promotion because instagram don't consider it, and they can find out if you do.

- FOLLOWERS:

Instagram has not released a minimum threshold for followers before you get verified, you get verified with low followers.

- IDENTITY CARD:

You will need a national identity card and an international passport in order to get verified on Instagram.

TRICK TO GET A VERIFIED BADGE ON INSTAGRAM.

Like I said in the first paragraph that I will teach you how to get a verified badge on Instagram with low followers, and I am fulfilling my promise.

Step 1:

Like I said before make your account authentic. That is your account must look professional and not spammy.

You should post original contents, no reposts and no selling or promoting, all your post should look professional.

STEP 2:

1,2 or 3 of your last post should be international, international I mean you should post photos of you doing business internationally, like show things you are doing or you have doing in other countries and Instagram won't verify local accounts like London plumbers as that is not international, many people ignore this, but is really important if you want to get verified badge on Instagram.

Tweak your bio, make it look professional, don't make it look spammy like adding "add me links", if you don't what understand add me link is?

Is like writing on your bio "follow me on Twitter" or something like that.

Step 3:

Create A 5 or 6 copycat accounts from different e-mail address, IP address , browser and different times and countries.

If you don't have friends from other countries to help you, no worries am with you, you can use a VPN(virtual private network) to change your IP address which would also change your country.

After creating the accounts, write their own bio and photos including photos from your real account, share the account for a few days or weeks or even a month.

Is best to use a separate device, a phone or a computer or even a VPN, if you don't know what you are doing clear cookies, caches and use a different device.

When you are doing this, never log onto your real account with the same IP address you are using for the copycat account and make the copycat account's username similar to your username.

Step 4:

Wait for three (3) to (4) weeks and get some friends to report the account for impersonating you, like I showed you earlier how to report the account that is impersonating you.

Step 5:

Check to see if instagram have removed the account, if they had?, apply for verification and you will need your national identity card or your international passport.

It will take 1 to 2 weeks to get verified and if is a no, they didn't approve your account, create 3 more copycat accounts and try after 30 days and you will surely get approved and get a verified badge the 1st or the 2nd time if you strictly follow this steps.

It was in my 2nd try I got approved when I followed the steps I gave you above. When I got approved I had 10k followers and you can get verified from 500 followers and above.

But to me I don't really see the importance of getting a Verified badge on Instagram.
